March 19, 2008 -- LKD Aerospace announced today that the company received FAA repair station certification for “Limited Accessories” in early February of this year. This certification enables LKD to offer repair services for various sensors for CF6 engines and is continuing to expand capabilities to service additional sensors on the CF6 platform.
LKD’s MRO Repair Services are structured to tailor flexible solutions to meet various customer requirements. This includes fixed price service contracts, time and materials, cost per flight hour as well as extended warranty programs. All repair services products have both supporting spares and exchange programs, which can be customized to specific customer requirements. LKD is pursuing both EASA certification, which is expected within a few weeks, as well as an expansion of their repair station rating to include “Limited Instruments” later this spring.
