Second International Location Accelerates
Globalization Efforts and Enhances Information Services Capabilities
August 28, 2000 -- LKD Aerospace

opening of its sales and software development office in Hyderabad, India.
Hyderabad is recognized worldwide as a leading high-tech center for

and Sri Lanka, Nepal, Mauritius and Thailand. Initial staffing includes a sales manager, software
development project manager and software development programmers.
Candie Carpenter, Manager of Information Systems for
LKD Aerospace, commented, "We were impressed with the high skill sets
of the people we interviewed during our initial visit to set up the
office earlier this year. We are especially pleased with the software
development talent we were able to recruit to LKD."
LKD is now able to provide 24x7 programming
capabilities due to the time zone difference with India. Candie added,
"Using the latest technology, the programmers in the U.S. and India
can share their code. When LKD U.S. goes home at night, India picks up
where the U.S. efforts left off. As India commits their changes at the end
of the day, programmers are starting their day here in the U.S. It has
really provided a tremendous catalyst for accelerating our information
services development efforts."

experience as well as a Master's degree in electronics engineering. Prashant said,
"I am excited to grow LKD's sales penetration efforts throughout

the government's plan to open up the Indian aviation industry to the
global market."

Mecconda, who has several years experience as Team Leader with strong
managing skills in project management. Hemangi is managing the daily
