LKD Aerospace Recruits New Information Technology Manager

New IT Leadership To Support E-Commerce Growth

Candie joins LKD from the Boeing Company where she has worked during the last three years in various IT roles in the Defense and Space Group as well as Commercial Aircraft divisions. Candie was also featured on the cover of Information Week magazine regarding her role at Boeing. Candie holds a B.S. in Information Technology from Arizona State University and is currently enrolled in Seattle Pacific University's Masters program in Information Systems Management, which she has nearly completed. Candie commented, "I am thrilled to be joining LKD and to lead the company's IT efforts as it launches its e-commerce and Internet initiatives. I am looking forward to utilizing the skills I've built in my previous positions in Aerospace and IT and employing them in the dynamic fast growth environment of LKD. I've got a big job ahead of me and I'm looking forward to diving in."

Earlier this year LKD announced the launch of it's new website www.lkdaerospace.com and e-commerce initiatives. LKD's new website contains part availability look up capabilities, company information and marketing materials. The company is currently in the process of developing a complete e-commerce website. Mr. Chamberlain outlined LKD's strategy, "We intend to roll out a series of new features in the second quarter of this year. Chief among these efforts is the development of our complete e-commerce website. It will contain more than 500,000 part numbers that can be searched, priced and bought entirely online. Candie will play an integral leadership role in the development and successful launch of these new website services."

LKD is experiencing rapid growth and the company plans to continue its large investments in the development of its IT and e-commerce infrastructure. LKD anticipates hiring additional IT staff throughout the first half of the year and is exploring various options for expansion.
