Inside Sales Representative

LKD Aerospace, a growing aerospace & defense company, in business since 1983, has an immediate opening for a full time Inside SalesRepresentative in Snoqualmie, WA.  LKD is a Global Distributor, Manufacturer & MRO of Aerospace Components specializing in distribution of factory new aerospace & defense components, FAA-PMA parts, OEM manufacturing of aerospace components for a variety of applications and MRO services. Our Gladiator Technologies Division designs and manufactures high performance MEMS inertial sensors and systems for OEM applications around the world.

Our Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for managing inside sales of aerospace components to OEM’s, government and the aftermarket including: leading international aerospace OEM’s, airlines and MROs.  Our products include: leading inertial sensors and systems for worldwide OEM’s, thermal switches and Hi-Rel thermal switches for space, engine component MRO repairs, airline expendables, interiors, cables and lanyards, and other products. This position will be responsible for applicable metrics on assigned customer accounts including bookings, sales, new customers, customer service, TAT and RMA.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Identify and grow the business through inside sales activities and retention of current customer accounts
  • Answer all customer inquiries including requests for quotations (RFQ’s), sales order acknowledgements, order status, problem resolution, documentation, RMA’s and quality assurance requests for information
  • Ensures customer satisfaction as the primary customer focal point for standard product sales
  • Works cooperatively with all other functions of the business including finance, shipping and receiving, purchasing and planning, manufacturing operations, repair operations and business development
  • Cross train for backup support role and other roles as necessary
  • Consistently exceed sales goals and provide sales leadership for the company
  • Keep CRM (Quantum) database up to date with current opportunities, chase plans, contacts, and proposals
  • Possess extensive knowledge of aerospace market specifically with inside sales

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Preferred three to five years’ experience in Customer Service/Sales in an aviation and/or aerospace OEM or aftermarket business
  • Preferred three to five years’ experience in Customer Service/Sales in a large Aerospace OEM company engaging in both manufacturing and repair services for major air carriers and MRO facility customers
  • U.S. Military Service including hands-on experience with aircraft engine maintenance and inventory is a plus
  • Knowledge of MRP and/or ERP systems in an aerospace environment
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook
  • Skilled in written and verbal communication
  • Ability to present a positive self-motivated personality to provide engaging customer service and sales
  • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities quickly
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a small team environment and have strong ethics to do what is right for the customer, the company and fellow employees
